Sofitel Adelaide

Developed by Palumbo and assisted by PT Design, this project combines world-class hotel accommodations with high-end residential apartments, all supported by seven levels of car parking above ground-floor commercial spaces.

PT Design provided innovative structural solutions tailored to meet the unique demands of this mixed-use development. CFA piles with pile caps formed the foundation of the structure, while insitu reinforced concrete cores and precast concrete shear walls provided lateral stability. Reinforced composite concrete slabs supported by structural steel framing ensured strength without compromising on design flexibility. The building’s shimmering glass façade adds an iconic presence to Adelaide’s skyline while reflecting its French-inspired interiors.
