East End Apartments

Collaborating with Cheesman Architects and Hindmarsh, PT Design played a critical role in delivering a structure that accommodates 140 residential apartments, commercial tenancies, and private car parking facilities. The building’s design features striking glass façades and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering residents sweeping views of the city skyline and Adelaide Hills while maximizing natural light.

The structural engineering solutions for this project were meticulously planned to meet both functional and aesthetic goals. Piled footings with pile caps provided a stable foundation, while precast concrete cores and façade walls ensured structural integrity. Reinforced concrete floors and prefabricated floor units were seamlessly integrated to support the building’s mixed-use nature. PT Design worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure that every element of the design was optimized for form, function, and longevity.
