Stage 4 at Xavier College Two Wells builds upon the success achieved in Stages 1 through 3 and stands out as a significant building in its own right.

Working with Edge Architects, Mossop Construction and Xavier College, PT Design played a key role in delivering the Stage 4 Specialist Building—an advanced education facility designed to support both food technology programs and contemporary general learning environments. The architectural vision centres on flexibility and functionality, creating adaptable teaching spaces that foster practical learning, collaboration, and student engagement.

PT Design provided integrated structural and civil engineering solutions to realise this vision. The building features a flat slab structural system supported by reinforced concrete columns and external reinforced block walls, offering efficient load distribution and maximising usable floor space. Precast concrete wall panels contribute to both structural integrity for vertical and lateral loads, while a steel-framed roof enables expansive, open-plan areas suited to diverse teaching requirements.

Beyond the building itself, the project encompassed extensive civil works to enhance the broader campus environment. This included the delivery of a new soccer pitch, new playing courts, additional car parking, and comprehensive landscaping—creating a cohesive and functional outdoor setting that complements the educational facilities.

Set within the grounds of Xavier College Two Wells Campus, the Stage 4 Specialist Building demonstrates PT Design’s ability to deliver coordinated engineering solutions that support modern educational design. The project reflects a commitment to creating durable, efficient, and adaptable spaces that enrich the student experience and respond to the evolving needs of contemporary learning environments.
